Guildwood Ice Storm – Fine Art Print
This stately gate behind the Guild Inn in Scarborough always reminds me of a grand English country house garden entrance. On this occasion in the early morning I was out and about to capture the previous night’s ice storm and took this scene. Looking through the gate we see the top of a very high Scarborough bluff and a bit of Lake Ontario on the horizon. A close look at the trees and bushes reveals they are coated in ice. Billowing clouds above the lake reflect the warm eastern sun and enhance the scene.
