Description
Trio #1 – Fine Art Print
I picked up these vintage (I’m assuming) marbles at a garage sale. I had never seen marbles like these – they are over an inch in diameter. The woman I bought them from said they had been passed down to her and had been in the family for years. At any rate I had a shot or two in mind for them (actually three). Due to a careful set-up, the reflective foreground has been seamlessly blended with the background, which had some texture. Coloured gels over my three backlights created a wash of greens, blues, cyans, browns and magenta hues.
Technical Information
These giclée (ink-jet) images are printed on museum quality Canson Infinity Baryta Photographique ll Satin paper (310 GSM, 12 mil thickness and 96.3% whiteness) for outstanding image quality and permanence. The prints are passed from an ICC (International Color Consortium) profiled monitor to our professional-level digital printer running eleven pigment-based inks and a clear coating twelfth “ink” finish on the image area.
