Male Wood Duck – Fine Art Print
I had always wanted to photograph a wood duck. One day while checking the weather I decided to look at some of the images people upload to my favourite online weather station. To my surprise one of the photographs was a male wood duck, and as luck would have it the photographer posted that he had shot it at High Park in Toronto. I had always assumed that a wood duck could only be found in more wild locales. Without further ado I drove to High Park with my camera equipment and headed for Grenadier Pond. On my way to the pond I passed what was barely more than a large puddle and lo and behold there he was. I got this shot and have never again seen a male wood duck!
