Description
Grape Hyacinth – Fine Art Photograph
I love hyacinths. Their strong, exquisite perfume signals that Spring has arrived. This particular variation, the grape hyacinth, with its slender green leaves and stems and beautiful dark blue blooms, makes a striking, almost sculptural grouping. I shot the image with a complementary soft sky-blue background with variations of subtle cyan and deeper royal blue notes. The rustic basket and garden stone add a fitting familiarity most garden lovers will relate to.
